Who is the "Community"?
Students
The AU Community Garden Club coordinates much of the happenings in the garden. We plan our crops, organize projects and field trips, and volunteer with local food banks.
Apart from the community garden members, we work with other student groups on campus like The Women's Initiative, Greek Life, and many other groups on campus looking for service hours. Send us an email if you want to get involved! Communitygardenau@gmail.com
AU Administration Support
Facilities Management: The garden could not do what it does without the support and help from AU's Facilities Management. We get tons of technical support and advice from all the great people in the facilities office.
AU Dining: The garden works with AU Dining on everything from planning an event together to helping us get essential items for the garden.
Office of Sustainability: We get great advice and support from the office of sustainability.
Community Members
You don't have to go to AU to be apart of our Community Garden! We are always looking for more people to help out. Please let us know if you want to stop by and we can give you a little tour and let you know what there is to do.
Kids are always welcome to come into the garden to explore and learn about gardening!
